September 2007
September was another enjoyable month with all of us at home, spending time as a family. Juliana started a “Wee Wigglers” dance class with Grandma on Wednesdays, Steve started playing flag football in a league on Saturday mornings, and Jeni started exercising again. We had some fun family outings, playgroups, and visits with family and friends. Sarah emerged from “baby hibernation mode”, with some significant fussy periods peppered in with her otherwise charming nature. Right at one month of age, she surprised us by rolling over from tummy to back, and has continued to do so on occasion. But our best gifts came toward the end of the month, when she gave us her first (awake) smiles, as well as some welcome six-hour stretches of sleep at night!
