The Panhorst Family

December 2007

December's usually a busy enough month as it is, but ours was even busier than usual! Jeni returned to work on December 12, and immediately learned about a major reorganization that would change her manager and some of her team members and responsibilities. The whole family attempted to settle back into "normalcy", with the big holidays sprinkled throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed a week-and-a-half visit from Nana and Grandpa Bernie, which included many Christmas festivities (with Grandma & Grandpa Al, too!), and also the start of a series of backyard construction projects. Juliana was joyful with the magic of Christmas. She loves entertaining her sister by singing to her. Pipsqueak Sarah became a verbal chatterbox, cooing and smiling at anyone who looks in her direction. At her four-month appointment, she was only in the 25th percentile for weight, but as the pediatrician accurately put it when comparing her to (the comparatively much larger at her age) Juliana, "she's less complicated, but more dangerous." How true. We unfortunately ended the month by passing a couple sicky bugs around the family, but we were all on the mend shortly into the new year.
