March 2008March was a month of varied activity, complete with Easter, the beginning of "Birthday Party Season", a visit from Joan, Sharon and Kevin, a family outing to the Renaissance Festival, and Mommy's first overnight trip since going back to work in December. Juliana enjoyed Mom & Me Day and the Pet Parade at Juliana's preschool, the conclusion of her Dressed-Up Dancers class and the beginning of her Intro to Arts class, and she regularly keeps herself busy with her creative paper crafts (she loves creating her own bags, hats, bracelets, and other such things), singing, and dancing. Steve's flag football season played out, and Jeni continued her sewing education by creating Juliana's Easter dress and purse. Steve unfortunately caught the nasty flu bug that was going around this season, and as a result, the girls had their first-ever stay at daycare, and enjoyed it quite a bit! Crash-course Sarah can crawl over almost anything now, and babbles all day long with "bababas" and "dadadas". We concluded our several months' long backyard remodel, with the installation of concrete coating and turf. Now the girls have another great environment in which to play. |
