October 2008
October was full of fall festivities, including the annual playgroup trip to Mother Nature's Farm, various Halloween soirees, and a playgroup camping weekend to Southern Arizona. Sarah's a dancing queen, showcasing her fancy footwork everytime music plays (even seated in the car -- she's a little Rockette!). Her recognizable vocabulary has expanded to include "no!", "buh-buh" (baby), "dah-duh" (Daddy), and the cutest lil' "byyyye" you ever heard (complete with baby pageant wave). She's also keenly aware that food comes from the fridge and pantry, and is doing her darnedest to break in (no success yet, but knowing her, it won't be long). But her best comedy act these days is freaking out (in the cutest way possible) whenever we pause the DVR -- she points and babbles incessantly at the TV until someone presses "play". Juliana is still soaking up song lyrics like a sponge, and she loves riding her first real bike around the neighborhood.
