November 2008
November finally brought chillier temperatures to the Valley of the Sun (as in, it's "only" getting up to the 70s during the day). Juliana started the month with a weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Camp, and then both girls returned for a night later in the month (Sarah's first overnight away!). Sarah's 15-month appointment confirmed that she's still creeping up the charts. Good thing, because our prevailing theory was that she'd been packing rocks into her diapers. Jeni celebrated her 31st birthday, and Jeni & Steve enjoyed a 2nd annual trip up to Glendale to take in a Cardinals game. Sarah is a little parrot these days, attempting to repeat many words spoken to her (including, thanks to Daddy's encouraged practice, "Mommy"), but she primarily remains incredibly well-spoken in a language only she can comprehend. She is already exhibiting "drama queen" moments of flopping herself onto the ground and squealing when she isn't thrilled about life. Much to our dismay, she definitely beat Juliana to that milestone.
