December 2008
December was as full as December always is, with plenty of holiday festivities to go around. We enjoyed not only a wonderful visit from Nana and Grandpa over Christmas, but a last-minute visit from Aunt Beth and cousin Jesse over a long weekend in early December. Juliana started a new series of swimming classes at Gold Medal Swim School, and is really enjoying her time there. Her drawing and coloring skills have grown by leaps and bounds just in the past month or so. Possibly cued by Sarah's ongoing love for babydolls, Juliana has developed a rekindled obsession with taking care of her babies, carefully putting them down for naps, rocking them, carrying them around, and feeding them. Sarah's teeth continue their slow trek through her gums, with two more top incisors revealing themselves. Sarah's vocabulary continues to grow, and she loves "reading" books. December also brought Sarah's first haircut! She and Juliana both sat like champs in the "big chair" at Mommy's hairdresser. We're looking forward to a great 2009!
