Jeni's Malaysia Trip
In mid-September 2008, I took an eight-day trip to Penang, Malaysia for work, to get better acquainted with my team located there. Being my first time in Asia, it was a brand-new experience, filled with new sights, sounds, and flavors, and yes, exhaustion. Penang is an incredibly unique place, with old-time tradition juxtaposed with modern technology. Its blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and British colonial cultures was evident everywhere I looked. While I did spend a lot of time in the office, I was able to do some sightseeing, and my photo journal captures just some of what I saw. Enjoy!
